Singalong Session II

with 22 comments

LP 2Two new members joined the troupe  – Blitz and 666.  Two song veteran -SonOfGun took the lead and gave directions to the newbies. Kaatha is on a break to strengthen his vocal chords. The guitar was played by me.

Enjoy! Its the same drill- do no expect god level skill; Hear with headphones.

  • Paattu Paadavaa from Thaen Nilavu

The chords for Paattu Paadavaa are found here.

  • Vellai Pookal from Kannathil Muthamittal

The chords for Vellai Pookal are found here.

  • Adho Antha Paravai Pola from Aayiraththil Oruvan

The chords for Adho Antha Paravai are found here. This was sung without any practice.  Someone started to sing a few seconds late. Someone got over enthusiastic in the end!

Kaathamuthu’s voice was sorely missed.  We hope to utilize his skill after his return from  hiatus. On a side note, people are welcome to join this garbage band ..I mean garage band. Highly skilled people will not be accepted because this is not the place for you and we will feel lousy for not being able to match your skill! ^_^

  1. I loved Paatu Paadavaa. The song by itself is one of my favorite. An excellent rendition by AM Raja to MSV, Ramamurthy tunes. But what was cooler was how effortlessly you guys sang and clearly enjoyed yourself.

    • Certainly! It was fun. But, you have no idea the extent of SonOfGun’s agony of repeats because the rest of us lagged behind.

      • Thanks Nimmy! We have a long way to go to be a good guitarist. Have a chorus and strum to their vocal patterns and the song sounds nice to hear :D

666 is yannai and blitz is shiv. Satish, yannai and shiv were the singers. I sung adho andha paravai and paattu paadaava too ;)

Romba expect pannatha…this band is getting dissolved in a week coz we are gonna be in different places. :-|

You misunderstood. Its not garbage band. I said its a garage band. Its a type of band that practices in a garage. Garage bands are popular in US coz many homes have garages and the neighborhood kids play music in those garages.

Hope you guys entertain us as often as you can!!
